from me…

distant thoughts

out of reach

covered with leaves

grass last gasp

’til spring

wisteria

hanging on the gate

lullabies

field

of wild daisies

footprints

lighthouse

above rocky cliffs

warm the moon

small cafe

with outside tables

autumn clouds

hanging half-moon

trying to hide behind

bare oak limbs

overwhelming

loneliness stretches

my imagination

as the leaves

scratch the screen

paper airplane

swirls with leaves

in the wind

as the chained dog

demands freedom

roof steams

from unexpected rain…

her perfume lingers
